About Our Program

The Jasper Band Program gives over 300 students in grades 6 - 12 the chance to learn, grow, and perform as both musicians and leaders. From Friday night halftime shows to formal concert halls, our students work year-round to represent our school and community with pride.

Our tradition of excellence is proven through decades of achievements that make our program stand out:

• Marching Band – 42-time state finalist, including 35 consecutive appearances, with 30 Top-Five finishes featuring 3 State Championships and 4 State Runner-Up titles

• Symphonic Band – 25-time state finalist in a highly competitive, classless contest (top 16 programs in the state, regardless of school size), earning 2 top 5 placements and 6 additional top 8 finishes

• Jazz Band – 1x State finalist

• Winter Guard – 37-time State Color Guard Association State Finalist

• Middle School Bands - Consistently receive Gold ratings for the bands' performances at the ISSMA Middle School Organizational Festivals

• Individual Musicians – Students consistently excel in district and state Solo & Ensemble events, with many also selected each year for district, regional, and state honor bands
